Tai Chi Intro

In this 8 week course you will learn the 24 Posture Tai chi form. This form was specially created to be accessible to anyone of any age. Tai chi is performed in a slow, gentle manner which enhances relaxation and mind/body connection, promoting circulation and balance.

Weekly Tai Chi

This is an ongoing class where you will learn different forms of Tai chi, as well as partner practice and applications. Special emphasis is placed on proper body mechanics and breathing, assuring that you get the maximum benefit from this unique art. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that gained great popularity in modern times for its health enhancing properties. It has even been proven to be more effective at lowering blood pressure than aerobic exercise! Other benefits include increased balance, strength, flexibility, as well as improved cognitive function.
