My Experience

I have created Mike Fallon Wellness as a way to share my experience in order to help others increase their well-being. Establishing balance between the body and mind is something I have spent my life researching and practicing with no end in sight. If you are interested in improving how you feel then you have come to the right place!

In addition to being a licensed massage therapist for since 2001,  I have spent the past 30 years practicing and teaching meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.  Tai Chi and Qigong are amazing arts that utilize the philosophy of qi (energy) and how it flows throughout the body through various energy channels and points. Qi is the invisible vital life-force that circulates throughout the universe and all living things. When it becomes blocked, pain and disease may arise. Through graceful, gentle movements and breathing, the body is allowed to naturally heal itself. Tai Chi holds a special place in my heart, for it is while teaching a Tai Chi class 20 years ago that I met my amazing wife!  

 

I have practiced meditation since I was a teenager, studying many styles, including Zen, Buddhist, Daoist, relaxation techniques, visualization, and have extensive experience translating Tibetan meditation manuals. The benefits of meditation are vast and they have helped me through all of life's challenges.

For those who are looking to get in better shape, lose weight, or achieve more physical and mental balance, I offer Holistic Fitness personal training sessions. My personal training draws from my experience studying Exercise Science at URI, and my many years teaching and practicing martial arts and meditation. This unique, complete way of fitness integrates the body and mind for increased energy and vitality.

 

Drawing from all these years of continuous practice and teaching experience, every class offered will empower you to take charge of your own well-being. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you!
